Many children and young students visited this painting exhibition. The 5th and 6th graders from The Project School, Bloomington, IN came with their teacher, Abbey Kutlas-Prickett. They talked with the artist, made observations, asked questions, and conducted sketching and free writing toward completing their assignments to create collaborative protest songs and protect art, after their semester-long studies of the role of the arts in activism and social change, and their studies in global warming.

The Global Warming Series was a partnership between the FAR Center for Contemporary Arts and Heartland Community Reconciliation Center, and is made possible through in-kind and financial support of these two nonprofit organizations and the Brabson Library and Educational FoundationBloomington Urban Enterprise Association, as well as in-kind support from the Bloomington Arts Commission, the City of Bloomington Utilities Department, and WonderLab.
